What is Life Coaching?
Simplistically, Life Coaching is a structured process which allows individuals to realise their full potential.  It is a methodology which revolves round the discovery and subsequent removal of destructive thoughts and behavioural habits and their replacement by positive attitudes and significant action to achieve clear goals.

Life Coaching is all about making positive change happen.  The enemy of such change is habit.  Coaching shows these habits to clients and identifies them for what they are; namely the inhibitors of progress.  It encourages individuals to take a fresh look at their lives and identify additional possibilities that had previously not been thought about.  Metaphorically, it encourages the driver to try a new road or new turning off a well-travelled path.  This may only be a minor change in direction but the longer this new route is followed the further from the original road the driver will be.  Can you imagine the destination after a year?

Life Coaching does not consider people are broken nor that they need 'fixing' like some cracked vase.  Individuals just need to be given the right tools to bring about change in their lives.  Often people have no idea how their beliefs, values and rules around those values, have been the recipe for unhappiness for them.  Sometimes all that is needed is to be shown the impact of all these systems in our lives, and how they effect us.
